Meal Plan Tips
These tips will help you spend less time prepping food and make better use of leftovers throughout the week.
- On Sunday, make the full batch of sloppy joes. The recipe makes enough for 8 large sandwiches, so reserve half of the mixture to serve over baked potatoes on Wednesday night.
- Serve Caesar salad or a simple tossed salad with the fettuccine on Monday. Save any extra romaine lettuce to use with tacos and taco pizza later in the week.
- Prepare extra taco meat and refried beans on Tuesday night. Use the leftovers for Taco Pizza on Friday and refried bean burritos for easy lunches.
- Save leftover pancakes from Thursday night and reheat them for a quick breakfast.
- Use any leftover bacon to make a potato frittata for breakfast or brunch.
- Prepare one fruit salad with your favorite fruits and serve it with both Wednesday and Thursday night dinners.
